Dr. Alfred Sarbah is a Ghanaian educationist, writer and a lawyer. He is currently the Director for Distance Learning and Continuing Education at Kumasi Technical University, Kumasi. He received his PhD in Management Science & Engineering with a specialization in Multinational Enterprise Management, Master of Arts Degree in Industrial Management, a Post Graduate Diploma in General Management, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Law and Sociology and a Post First-Degree Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Dr. Sarbah has work with a few private companies before joining Kumasi Technical University where he currently, work as a Senior Lecturer in Strategic Management at the Department of Management Studies. He serves of various statutory and ad hoc committee and has been part in the development of many policies for the institutions. He serves as consultant for many establishments where he provides both legal and management consulting.
Dr. Sarbah is also a licensed Legal Practitioner and practises the law with a private law firm in Kumasi where he serves as the Managing Solicitor. His area of specialization is Corporate and Commercial Law.
His research is in Strategic Management, and Corporate Governance where he specialises in Corporate governance in family businesses. He is Member of the International Professional Managers Association (IPMA-UK), Ghana Bar Association (GBA), Ashanti Bar Association (ABA), among others.
He has several publications and has supervised several student’s thesis and dissertations in various aspects of management, procurement and business.
He has over the years developed extensive experience in developing analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills which has afforded him the opportunity to be a proven positive team leader and player and all endeavours that he finds himself. Dr Sarbah has a clam personality and is married with a daughter.
